1. Scope of Warranty
Fixespoint warrants that all repairs performed by our certified technicians using genuine parts, purchased directly through the Fixespoint online store or at a Fixespoint merchant location, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 7 days from the date of service (“Warranty Period”).
2. What is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Defects in Workmanship: If the repair fails due to an error made by our technician during the repair process.
- Defective Parts: If a genuine part used in the repair malfunctions within the Warranty Period.
- Re-Repair: If the original issue reoccurs within the Warranty Period.
3. What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental Damage: Any damage caused by accidents, drops, spills, or misuse after the repair.
- Water Damage: Any damage caused by liquid exposure, even if the device was previously repaired for water damage.
- Unauthorized Repairs: If you attempt to repair the device yourself or have it repaired by a third-party not authorized by Fixespoint.
- Software Issues: Any software-related problems or malfunctions.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Any cosmetic damage or wear and tear that occurs naturally over time.
- Loss or Theft: Loss or theft of the device or car.
- Parts or Repairs Not Purchased Through Fixespoint: Any parts, devices, or cars purchased or repaired outside of the Fixespoint network.
- Trade-in offers or guarantees provided by Fixespoint merchants.
4. Obtaining Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, you can:
- Submit a Claim on the App: Submit a warranty claim through the dedicated Warranty page on the Fixespoint app.
- Contact Customer Support: Contact our customer support team within the Warranty Period.
- Visit a Fixespoint Merchant: Visit any Fixespoint merchant location with your proof of purchase.
In all cases, be prepared to provide your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.
5. Warranty Transfer
The warranty is transferable to a new owner if the device or car is sold or given away within the Warranty Period, provided that the new owner becomes a Fixespoint customer by making a purchase or obtaining a repair service within the Warranty Period. The warranty for the same repair type is not transferable.
6. Warranty Extension
You may request to extend the warranty for a specific period of time for an additional fee. Please contact our customer support team for details and pricing.
7. Turnaround Time
We strive to complete all warranty repairs within 7 days of receiving the device or car. However, the actual turnaround time may vary depending on the complexity of the repair and the availability of parts.
8. Limitations of Liability
Fixespoint's liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective part or workmanship. Fixespoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the repaired product.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly provided in this warranty, Fixespoint disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
11. Severability
If any provision of this warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect
